Welcome to the website of the Clear Lake Betterment Association for the beautiful Clear Lake in northeast South Dakota.

The mission of the Clear Lake Betterment Association is to promote good recreation and water safety for Clear Lake in Marshall County, South Dakota and in connection therewith to also undertake studies for controlling water levels, pollution and environment and to promote good ecology for Clear Lake and surrounding areas in an effort to make better, safer boating, swimming, water skiing and improve fishing and fishing conditions, to build and maintain a park and playground area and generally to improve the lake and lake shore property for the betterment of all occupants of lake shore property and generally to do any other act in keeping with its corporate purpose and policies to the better enjoyment of our lakes and natural resources as may be deemed advisable by the majority of the members of the corporation.
